Product Review: James Reed Face Mask
When browsing the beauty shelves, the gleaming gold stripes caught my eye, furthering my interest were the words ‘Sleep Tan Mask’. I love appearing to have a holiday glow all year round, I seem to look and feel younger and more vibrate, so the opportunity of waking up with an effortless tan felt very appealing.
The bottle states the tanning formula combines overnight skin beautifying ingredients with a touch of self-tan. Infused with aloe vera, cucumber, hyaluronic acid and red algae, together the ingredients soothe and guarantee a subtle golden glow by morning.
Hyaluronic acid has many benefits including reducing wrinkles and redness and helps the skin to feel more supple. Approximately half of your body’s Hyaluronic acid is found in your skin, and naturally, it maintains moisture levels. Hydrated skin & a tan…need we go on?

The product has a mild fake-tan smell to it, but I use a lot of products so this wasn’t too off-putting. Anyone sensitive to nighttime smells may find this an issue.
The tan itself is lightweight and light in colour, like a soft gel. After
I was delighted with the results in the morning, the tan didn’t appear fake or blotchy, there were no patches or dark areas, although after using the product several times I noticed the tan is more even if I spend more time checking the coverage. On the odd occasion, If I have been rushing, I’ve added too much near the hairline, causing a dark patch, which is something to be aware of, but overall a great purchase, I would recommend this and of course re-purchase myself!
